M.S., Founder, President & CEO of the Fatherland Technology
Hareter B. Oralusi is a renowned visionary and social entrepreneur. He founded the Fatherland Technology (2017), the London School of Social Enterprise and Sustainable Economics (2014), and the Nigerian Capital Development Fund (2010). He is dedicated to spreading diversity by training deprived, disfranchised Black youths who express a creative talent within the sphere of Media, Marketing & Entertainment. By providing inspiring
education and mentoring, Oralusi can thus help to ameliorate societal imbalance, and kindle economic growth in regions such as Atlanta and New York city, which have a substantial number of disadvantaged Black youths.
Oralusi began his career as a social worker, after which he became Team Leader for the Rural Credit Agency in Austria, handling organizational and risk assessment of six regional rural credit operations and national programs. He was later given a high-level management position at Edwin Hareter’s Financial Services in the UK. – A corporation where he acquired significant knowledge in devising strategies to successfully create, grow and strengthen a variety of financial institutions such as MFIs, credit bureaus and commercial banks.
He then returned to Nigeria to serve as a Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Government (on Water Resources & Rural Development); and he then became Deputy Secretary-General of the Nigerian Labour Cooperative Society. Further, in 2014, in line with his vision for the Development & Empowerment of the people and community founded the Nigerian Capital Development Fund.
Oralusi is currently the Chairman of the Governing Board of the renowned London School of Social Enterprise and Sustainable Economics. He holds a Diploma and Master of Science (MSC) in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development from the highly accredited PEF (Private University of Management), Vienna, Austria. And is currently studying for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The Association of Business Executives Institute, in the UK.
Chief Financial Officer
Ortega Owumi is one of the driving forces behind the Fatherland Technology. She works to ensure that the Managerial, Processing and Monitoring aspects of the company’s strategies are executed to maximum effect. She provides direction for the Financial Planning, Reporting and Finance Operations Teams.
Owumi began her career at American Express Services Europe Limited, after which she was given the position of Special Project Manager at the London Deanery, which is responsible for improving the quality of patient care. Later down the line, in 2010, she became Executive Director of Lifecome Limited Trading (a subsidiary of the ForeMedia Group).
She is a dynamic (MBA & qualified Prince2 Practitioner) Executive Director, with a proven track record of managing large scale, high risk, Strategic Projects that span organizational boundaries; multiple business units, and global service partners/vendors. She has initiated and managed Finance, Business Transformation, Process Improvement, Healthcare and Technology-Enabled Business Projects using high level structured Project Management and Process Improvement Techniques.
Owumi is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and has successfully developed Managers who have achieved personal and organizational goals. These include outstanding track records for winning Public Sector contracts and managing the latter to precise specification.
Director of Partnership & Sponsorship
Dr. Argrow Kit Evans-Ford is a exceptionally motivated professional with 15 years combined experience in educational and non-profit settings. Moreover, she holds an impressive track record in high level Intercultural Experience spanning the US, Europe, Japan, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and the Caribbean.
Evans-Ford holds a BA in Communications Studies and African/Afro-American Studies from the University of North Carolina; a MA in Teaching (Special Education); a MA in Social Justice and Community Development; and a MDiv degree, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Spiritual Direction, from the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL.
Professor Kit has been in the educational sector since 2004. She is an in-demand teacher for the American and United States Peace Corps Alumni. Her dissertation was on Women’s Studies, Violence Prevention, Economic Equity, and Social Enterprise. Her findings have been acknowledged as a major contribution to women who need healing from the trauma of sexual violence. She has presented papers at major conferences and symposiums across the US and is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Ambrose University.
Chief Creative Officer
Dashaun Simmons is the Fatherland Technology’s Chief Creative Officer. He is responsible for the leadership and strategic development of Creative Studios. He boasts over 10 years extensive experience in both the Digital Space and Traditional Printing (from a content creator and advertising perspective).
Between 2010 to 2017, prior to joining the ForeMedia Group, Simmons was Contributing Editor for Fusicology.
This involved reviewing musical performances and top musical artists from around the world. He has also worked in various other organisations, focusing on different projects from Developing Video Scripts (for sales engagement) to Content Creation for social media.
Dashaun is well known for his innate understanding of the ever-revolving Digital Marketplace, and his unique strategic planning for market success. He holds a BSC in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College, in the US.
Legal Associate & Compliance
Amy Oraefo serves as the ForeMedia Group’s Legal Adviser for Entertainment. She oversees legal affairs related to Content Production, and Acquisition and Distribution. She has 8 years’ experience in a broad spectrum of business and transactional matters.
She started her career as an in-house Counsel at SAS Institute Inc. Working on behalf of the company’s national and international subsidiaries in Africa,
the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, she drafted, red-lined and reviewed, the terms and conditions of both software licensing agreements and contractor agreements.Oraefo, is the Managing Attorney of Amy Oraefo, P.C., and as such, she is regularly consulted on Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Entertainment Law, and Business Strategy. Prior to this position, she served as in-house Counsel at a Fortune 100 company in Cary, North Carolina. She earned a BA in Communication and Cultural Studies from North Carolina Central University and was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law. She currently serves as a board member of the Recording Academy.
Chief Talent Officer
Riza is Fatherland’s Chief Talent Officer and manages the human resources unit. She has over 17 years’ experience in recruitment, HR operations, Business Partnerships, Learning & Development, Business Development, Client engagement and Sales & Customer Service Management.
She has worked with leading global corporations in oil & gas, executive search, technology & software development and business process outsourcing. She is passionate about developing and retaining talent and ensuring organizations adhere to evolving and intricate employment requirements.
